eAU is a digital sick note system that allows employee health data to be transmitted securely to health insurance providers and employers without paper certificates. This article guides you through the setup process and explains which employees are eligible for eAU based on their insurance status. Follow these steps if you use DATEV LODAS or DATEV Lohn und Gehalt and want to enable eAU in Kenjo.
You can only activate eAU when you work with DATEV Lodas or DATEV Lohn und Gehalt. More requirements you find in this article.
When you want to set up DATEV including eAU for the first time, please read this article first.
The advantages of the digital sick note are clear: the insured person's data is transmitted more quickly and securely to both the health insurance provider and the employer. Additionally, there is no need to send paper certificates to either party, making the process not only simpler but also time-saving for the employee.
