In this article you'll learn how to sign in to the mobile app, record attendance, manage timesheets, request time off, and approve time off requests. The mobile app allows you to track your attendance and time off from your Android or iOS device with features like punch clock check-ins, shift recording, and timesheet editing. This article is relevant for all users who have downloaded the HR software mobile app.

Once you have downloaded the app, you will need to sign in with your credentials. Here, you can choose the option "Keep me signed in", which will leave you signed in to your account for two weeks. If you do not choose this option, you will be logged in for 48 hours.

Features available on the mobile app

1. Attendance

Today

Under Attendance > Today, you can record your attendance with Start, End, and Break Time. If you have the punch clock activated, you can slide to check in and hold down the button to check out. You are also able to choose a category right after checking in. This can be very helpful when tracking time for different projects, or registering whether someone is working from home or the office.

To record multiple shifts, please use the (+) button towards the bottom right corner. From here, you can click the Summary button to access your overall Timesheet.

Note:

  • If Geolocation is activated under Settings by the Admin and the mobile GPS is turned on, you can also record your location through the mobile application.

  • If the Punch Clock is activated as opposed to the Manual entry, you will also be able to clock in and check out as usual.

Timesheet

Under Attendance > Timesheet, you can access your week's attendance and use the "<" or ">" option to move back and forth respectively. Not only can you view past entries, but you can also edit them or add new entries that are missing.

You can do so by clicking on the day you wish to edit/add a shift and following the same steps as described above.

2. Time off

Under Time off > Requests, you can view your Upcoming time offs and place new requests by clicking the (+) button towards the bottom right corner. You can also view your Past time off data by clicking the Filter option at the top right corner.

Under Time off > Approve requests, you can Approve/Cancel the time off request placed by the employees. This section is available to the Admins and HR Admins by default. Managers will be able to process the time off requests placed by their subordinates.

3. Smart docs

Under Smart docs > My docs, you can upload new documents and view the documents uploaded in the last 30 days. You can access all the docs under the Tags section.

To upload a document, use the (+) button towards the bottom right corner. You can either upload a photograph (taken from the mobile camera) or the files on your mobile phone.

Note: Before using your camera to upload a document, you need to allow Kenjo access to your mobile camera in the settings.
