FAQ: Pulse Surveys

In this article you'll learn how to understand Pulse survey response counts, send reminders to employees, and view participant completion status.

Q: How are my employees going to receive the Pulse surveys?

A: Employees will receive an email notification with a link and a push-notification on their smartphones that will redirect them to the 2-minute survey with 8 simple questions.


Q: The Pulse shows different numbers of employees who completed the survey. Why?

A: In a Pulse survey, two different counts are displayed:

  1. Question-level responses: This number shows how many employees answered that specific question.

  2. Survey-level completions: This number counts only the employees who fully completed the entire Pulse survey.

Because some people may skip questions, the question-level count can differ from the total number of completed surveys.


Q: How do I remind my employees to take the survey?

A: Send a reminder to your employees! The responses are completely anonymous, but you can find out who hasn't responded yet. Note: this only works if you have more than 10 employees. To see who hasn't responded yet:

Go to Pulse > Surveys > Information > Participants

The list of employees will appear, along with the date they completed their last survey and the day it was sent.

  • Choose the non-participating employees by clicking on the box next to their name OR click the box next to employee to remind all employees

  • Click REMIND

Important: A reminder can only be sent after one week has passed since the last survey was sent. Before that, the button will not be clickable.

Q: We want to remind our employees to fill out the Survey, but it's not possible to click on the "Remind" button?

A: You might have to wait a bit longer before sending the reminder. The Remind button is only enabled after a week from the moment the survey was sent.


Q: In which language will the questions in Pulse appear?

A: The language of the questions in Pulse depends on which language the employee has selected for their Kenjo profile (English, German, Spanish).


Q: Is Pulse also available on mobile?

A: Yes. Your employees can fill out Pulse surveys on their mobile phones in only a few minutes. Watch this video to learn how easy it is:

Q: I can't find my old Kenjo surveys, where are they?

Please note that due to changes to the Pulse module, you as a longer-time Pulse user will only be able to see your previous Kenjo employee satisfaction surveys and no drafts or other surveys.


Q: How do I see results?

A: You can easily get an overview of the results of each survey.

  • You can see your eNPS score as a scale over time

  • You can see Employee Engagement as a scale over time

  • You can see a category's scale and the number of feedbacks attached to it over a specific period of time

  • You can review the feedbacks per category by clicking Review

  • Change the period by clicking the dropdown on the upper right corner and select Last 60 days, a specific month etc.)


Q: What is the Feed?

A: The Feed contains all Feedback you have received in your survey listed for each category you have submitted questions for in this particular survey.

  • You can filter the questions by Category via the Dropdown menu 1

  • 2 You can filter by read status and select All, Unread or Read

  • You can reply to a feedback by clicking 3 REPLY

  • You 4 (+) ADD YOUR FEEDBACK to a category and read status feedback bunch
