Must-Knows about specific workspaces
For DSPs: the old Attendance export dashboard
The old Attendance export dashboard, which shows worked hours and break times per employee for the current month, is available as-is in the standard workspace Attendance overview, in the Tracked hours by employee widget.
To see the data as in the old dashboard, select Visualization: Table and Granularity: Month in the widget.
To change this widget, for example the period, click Duplicate to edit at the top right. Then click the edit pencil of the widget and change the period to, for example, Last 12 months. Make sure you keep the filter by employee applied.
Show joiners and leavers as an employee list
You can build a list of employees who joined or left in a given period: not just the headline number, but the names behind it.
Set the period in the global filter.
Add a widget with the metric Employee master data as a Table.
Add the filter Employment event and select Joined (start date in the period), Left (termination date in the period) or Both.
Optional: add the filter Termination reason to exclude, for example, retirements.
The default filter "Terminated = No" is switched off automatically for a leaver list. Keep in mind that other filters such as "Terminated" and "Employee status" may narrow the list further.
Note: This is an interim solution via the employee master data table. A direct table view within the Joiners and Leavers widgets is the next planned step.
Deduct break time in attendance widgets
Depending on your company policy, breaks can be paid or unpaid and may or may not be deducted from tracked time. In the following widgets you can use a toggle to decide whether break time should be deducted:
Tracked hours
Total tracked hours
Tracked hours by department
Tracked hours by attendance category
Tracked hours by employee
How to activate the option:
Open the widget editor via the edit icon.
Switch on the toggle Deduct break time.
Click Apply.
Break time counts as working time by default. Switch the toggle on to deduct it from tracked time instead.
