Extract Master Data from DATEV

Modified on Fri, 22 Jul 2022 at 05:33 PM

Once the DATEV integration is active on your account, it's time to extract all the master data you have saved in DATEV.

Once you have the Kenjo Export.xlsx file, you have to import it into Kenjo. Follow the steps explained in this article to know which option adapts to your needs.

:rotating_light:Important: Please make sure that the DATEV integration is activated and that you have added all the employees to the DATEV Settings.

Open "Datev Arbeitsplatz" and launch program "Daten-Analyse-System". If it is not shown in the shortcut list, use the program search to find it. Note: It is not included in all Datev subscriptions.

Next, open the menu "Daten-Analyse-System" and select "Einspielen…".

Then, click on "Sicherung hinzufügen" to add a new report.

In the file selection window, select the file "Kenjo Daten-Analyse-Auswertung.xml" which you can download at the end of this article.

Next, click on "Weiter" and select the report on the left side. Then click on the arrow button to move it to the right.

Click on "Fertigstellen" and then "Beenden" to finish the import. Now select the section "Individuelle Auswertungen" and double-click on the subfolder "Öffentlich" to display the Kenjo Export report.

Double-click the report "Kenjo Export RZ" and click on "Neue Datenanalyse".

Select the right company and, if necessary, pick a certain month (if not the latest data should be exported) and click on "Ausführen".

The finished report will be shown. In section "Exportieren", click on "in die Tabellenkalkulation" to export it as an Excel file.

Show DATEV fields

Once the import is ready, go People > Employee Profile > Personal > Actions > SHOW DATEV FIELDS to see all the fields that your employees will now have.

View after you click on SHOW DATEV FIELDS:

Note:

  • The DATEV employee fields are only editable when you click on SHOW DATEV FIELDS
  • To edit the rest of the fields that Kenjo includes by default (such as name, last name, gender, etc.) you will have to click on HIDE DATEV FIELDS
