This article explains how admins can edit already approved or submitted time off requests for employees. With this feature, you can adjust time off requests after they've been submitted without needing to cancel and resubmit them, which helps keep time off history clean. This is particularly useful if an employee needs to modify their request due to circumstances like illness during their vacation.
1. Feature summary
Previously, already approved or submitted past and future time off requests could not be edited – only cancelled. With the new update, these requests can now be edited directly without needing to cancel and resubmit, keeping the time off history much cleaner. If an employee falls ill during their vacation, the request can now also be adjusted afterward. If an eAU certificate is attached, editing the request will automatically trigger a new certificate request.
2. Edit employees' time off requests
Go to People Directory and find the respective employee
Click on Time off in the horizontal menu
Find the time off history section
Find the appriopriate entry
Click the edit-pencil to edit the entry according to your needs
Hinweis:
If a eAU certificate is involved in the newly edited request it will automatically trigger a new certificate request.
