In this article you'll learn how to view tasks, filter results to personalize them, and understand task details such as assignee, creator, candidate information, and due dates. You'll also discover how tasks are created from three different sources: Recruiting, Meetings, and Workflows, and how to track task completion status. This article is relevant for employees who need to manage tasks across recruitment, meetings, and onboarding workflows in Kenjo.
Tasks from Recruiting
Tasks are especially useful for employees involved in the recruitment process. As you may know, once a candidate applies for an active job opening, a candidate profile is automatically generated under Recruitment > Candidates.
In a candidate profile, you can create tasks and assign them to colleagues who are part of the Hiring Team. In the following example, the Hiring Team is conformed by Andreina and Andrea. Andreina had assigned two tasks to Andrea: evaluating the new candidate and conducting the first interview.
When Andrea logs into her Kenjo account, both tasks will be shown in her Tasks feature:

Tasks from Meetings
In the feature Meetings, participants can create tasks that will also be reflected in the list of Tasks of the assignee.
In this example, Andreina has created a task and assigned it to Pedro.
When Pedro logs into his Kenjo account, this task will appear in his Tasks list automatically:

Tasks from Workflows
You can also create tasks automatically from your workflows. In the example of the workflow below, there are three tasks that are created when a new employee needs to be onboarded.
In this case, the assignee can be picked automatically - according to the settings of the workflow and your organization in Kenjo. In this example, the assignee will be the direct manager of the new employee.
In contrast, in the previous examples (Tasks from Recruiting and Tasks from Meetings), the assignee could only be picked up manually by the creator of the task.

Company Tasks
All the users of Kenjo can have access to Tasks, even though they do not have any tasks assigned. The Profiles Admin and HR Admin, however, have also permission to see an overview of all tasks created in Kenjo.
Therefore, besides having the "My tasks" tab, they also have access to the tab "Company tasks":
