There are five ways to add new candidates into Kenjo:
You can create a candidate by clicking on Recruiting > Candidates > [+].
In the pop-up you will see the fields you created for the candidate in Settings > Recruiting - Settings > Candidate fields.
If you want to forward applications that were sent to your personal mailbox, you can send them directly to Kenjo by forwarding them to the address shown here. Afterward, a new applicant will be created automatically.
Steps to create email2candidate automatic forward.
- Find the email of your organization, this would be something like orgId@email2candidate.kenjo.io
- Follow these steps in case you want to create an automatic forwarding rule in your email server (example of Gmail server).
- Follow the steps described in this link: https://support.google.com/a/answer/4524505
- Be sure that you are the administrator of your email (otherwise a validation code would be sent, which is not a valid option for this scenario).
- Set the forwarding rule from settings.
To see the candidates created through this option go to Recruitment > Talent pools > Inbox.
Once your career site is published and open positions are activated, candidates can apply online.
The Chrome Extension

To configure the access of external agencies or headhunters with whom you collaborate, check this article: The Agency's portal in Kenjo.
Access the profile of the candidate you wish to manage through Recruitment > Candidates. From here you will have access to different functionalities grouped by tabs.
If you are the Hiring Manager or an Admin, just click on the candidate's name and you can add information and documents.
Here you can consult the score that each member of the selection team gave to the candidate, as well as the general recommendation.
In the Emails tab, you can communicate with the candidate using his email address. To start, click on "Compose email" and if necessary choose a template or write a new message. If you don't want to send an email immediately you can schedule it to be sent.
If you want to save spontaneous thoughts or additional information about a candidate, you can do so by adding a comment. Private comments are only visible to yourself. You can also create comments that are visible to your team or the headhunter. To notify one specific colleague, simply use “@name of a colleague”.
If the candidate might also fit into another open vacancy, you can move him by clicking on the "Assign to a job posting" option or to a talent pool created.
After the decision is made by the Hiring team click on the [...] button to access the following options:
- Convert to employee
Have you found the perfect person for your job opening? Congratulations! This means that you will convert this candidate into an employee. In order to do so, go to the candidate profile and click on the three points. The option "Convert applicants to employees" will now appear. After you have selected this option, the system will lead you to an overview in which you can complete the data of your new employee. Your new colleague will now appear in your employee overview.
- Reject from this job opening
You can reject candidates that do not meet your expectations with one click in Kenjo. To do so, go to the applicant profile, click on the three dots and select the "Reject applicant" option. You can find out how to automate a rejection email in the article Recruiting Workflows.
- Reject and send an email
Use this option when you want to reject a candidate and send an email. This option allows you to select a template, and modify the content if necessary.
- Remove applicants from the job posting
If the applicant is relevant in other job openings, please use this option.
- Delete permanently
If you want to delete a candidate completely, use this option. This means that all the candidates' data, including the documents, will be deleted.
