1. Set up Companies
To set up one or more companies, follow the next steps:
Go to Settings > My Company.
Under 1 Companies, fill in the necessary information related to your company:
Company's address: Street, street number, zip code and city
Company identifier: TO BE CLARIFIED
Billing details: Billing email address and VAT number
Contact Person's First and Last Name
Currency your company operates in
Default language: Language your company works in primarily
Under 2 Full Time employee section, select the working days by clicking on each day and
Type in weekly hours of a full-time employee
Choose a public holiday calendar for your company under 3 Attach calendar section
Create an email signature template by clicking the (+) icon under the 4 Email signature
You can add new companies by clicking the (+) icon on the right hand side of the My Company module
An employee can be assigned to a company in People > Employee's Profile > Work
The number displayed beside each company gives the number of employees associated with the company
2. Delete Companies
To protect you, you can't delete companies on your own. Please contact Support to delete any company from your account. Make sure that no employee is assigned to this company.
3. Set up Offices
To set up one or more offices, follow the next steps:
Go to Settings > My Company > Offices
Under Offices, fill in the necessary information related to the office and assign the office to a company when you set up multiple companies
Choose the calendar under Attach calendar section
Adding the right calendar to your office is important, especially because of the local official holidays
You can add new offices by clicking the (+) icon next to the Offices module
An employee can be assigned to an office in People > Employee's Profile > Work
The number displayed in brackets beside each office gives the number of employees associated with the office.
4. Delete an Office
To delete an office, click on the bin icon that appears while hovering the mouse over a specific office. Make sure that no employee is assigned to this office.
5. Set up Divisions
To set up one or more divisions, follow the next steps:
Go to Settings > My Company > Divisions
Under Divisions, click the '+' icon to add a new division
In the pop-up enter the name of the new division and click ADD DIVISION
Note:
An employee can be assigned to multiple divisions at a single point in time
An employee can be assigned to a division in Employee > Personal > Work
The number displayed beside each division gives the number of employees associated with the division
6. Delete Divisions
To delete a division, click on the bin icon that appears while hovering the mouse over a specific division. Make sure that no employee is assigned to this division.
7. Set up Departments
To set up one or more departments, follow the next steps:
Go to Settings > My Company > Departments
Under Departments, you'll find a set of standard departments. You can retain the standard departments or rename them as per your requirements. Or click the '+' icon to add a new department
An employee can be assigned to only one department at a single point in time
An employee can be assigned to a department in People > Employee's Profile > Work
The number displayed in brackets beside each department gives the number of employees associated with the department
8. Delete Departments
To delete a department, click on the bin icon that appears while hovering the mouse over a specific department. Make sure that no employee is assigned to this department.
9. Set up Teams
To set up one or more teams, follow the next steps:
Go to Settings > My Company > Teams
Under Teams, click the (+) icon to add a new team
Enter the name of the new team and click Add team
Note:
An employee can be assigned to multiple teams at a single point in time
An employee can be assigned to a team in Employee > Personal > Work
The number displayed beside each team gives the number of employees associated with the team
10. Delete Teams
To delete a team, click on the bin icon that appears while hovering the mouse over a specific team. Make sure that no employee is assigned to this team.
