Feedbacks are an effective instrument to evaluate your work and measure your and your employees' achievements in an objective and cooperative manner. Let me show you how you write a feedback as part of a Performance Review in Kenjo.
Notifications
Email notifications: As an employee you receive an email notification that your input or a review is needed. You can click on the WRITE A REVIEW button and will be directed to the Performance Review's To-dos section where you will be able to see all the to-dos that require you to give feedback.
In-app Notification: Notifications can be accessed by clicking the bell icon in the top right corner of the screen. If you have a new unseen notification, a yellow dot next to the bell will appear. Once you click on it, you will be able to see the new notifications:
By clicking on the Open button, you will be redirected to your To-Dos page, where all tasks regarding Performance reviews will be displayed.
The following general information will be displayed:
- 1. Name of the performance review: Mitarbeitergespräche Marketing
- 2. Dropdown menu: where you can change between review types. For example, between Self-assessment and Direct Reports
- 3. Status: indicates whether the feedback has been not started, started, or finished. Our example feedback is finished
- 4. SHOW REVIEWER SIDE: if the reviewee answered her or his self-assessment, you can click here to compare the results. In our example we write a self-assessment and therefore no reviewer side can be displayed.
- 5. General information:
- Reviewer: indicates who you are evaluating. If available, you can click the arrow to change reviewees
- Job title: indicates the Job title of the reviewer
- Review type: it can be Direct Report, Manager, Peer Review, or Self assessment
- Due date: indicates before when you have to complete the review
Write a feedback
When you're participating in a review cycle you'll be asked to write a feedback.
- You can access the feedback tasks within the To-do section of your Performance Review module.
- You can be asked to deliver a self-assessment, a peer review, a manager review and/or a direct report. You can see the number of feedbacks you have completed and the number of feedbacks you're asked to submit via the green field (x/x completed).
- Go to Performance Review > Write to see an overview of your feedback tasks. You can apply a filter, displaying All tasks, only complete or only incomplete tasks.
- Click on one review task to start the question flow for a feedback. As soon as you start to work on one review, all changes will be auto-saved.
Questions flow: Following the general information about the Feedback, you will find the questions you have to answer. They are organized by different categories of evaluation.
- You can add comments to each question, when the option was enabled, by clicking on (+) ADD COMMENT.
- Refresh the page to see the changes. Via My Performance > Write you can see a circle symbol and its color. It indicates the status of your review. Grey indicates that the feedback has not been started yet, orange indicates that it has started and a green circle with a white arrow indicates that the review is finished.
- After you have completed all the assessment questions, you will be asked to evaluate the employee or yourself according to their potential and performance level, as well as include a mandatory overall rating.
Once you click Yes, Finish you can no longer edit the feedback.
Your admin can see under Reviews > Overview > Show Status that you have started or completed a feedback. This tab is only visible to admins and is not shown in your employee profile.
