This action, found on the right side of the employee profile, is only visible if the employee is active and assigned to an attendance policy with PIN code enabled.
Before managing PIN codes, the following should be in place:
The Attendance Kiosk is activated
Your employees are assigned to an attendance policy with PIN code (or PIN + QR).
Manage PIN code
Go to Employees > Select employee > Personal.
On the right under Actions, click Edit PIN code.
A window opens with two options: View, where you click the eye icon, or update, where you click Renew PIN code.
View PIN code
Click the eye icon to see the current PIN code.
Update PIN code
Click Renew PIN code to generate a new code for this employee. The new PIN is automatically sent to the employee by email, push notification in the Kenjo app, and desktop notification.
Important: The employee cannot view or reset their own PIN code. If an employee has forgotten their PIN, you need to view it or regenerate it as an Admin.
Frequently asked questions
My employee has forgotten their PIN code
To help an employee who has forgotten their PIN code, go to their personal profile and click Edit PIN code. You can view the current PIN using the eye icon or generate a new one.
The employee has not received their new PIN code
If an employee has not received their new PIN code, ask them to check their spam folder. If the code still does not arrive, generate it again, and it will be delivered by email, push notification, and desktop notification.
Can the employee view or reset their own PIN?
No. Only Admins and HR Admins can view or regenerate PIN codes.
