Understanding your hours
You can see your attendance under Attendance > My Attendance, as soon as your time tracking is activated. What is shown depends on what your admin has set up.
Desktop - Attendance summary
The blue progress bar shows how much of your planned working time you have reached so far.
Display | What it means |
Tracked hours (blue bar) | Your paid hours so far: tracked time + paid absences + paid public holidays |
Planned hours (target line) | How many hours are planned up to today according to your work schedule or shift plan |
Overtime balance (chip) | Whether you have worked more (Time surplus) or less (Time deficit) than planned. Only visible if your admin has enabled overtime tracking. |
Required hours | Your contractual net hours: minimum working time minus absences minus public holidays |
If overtime tracking is active, you also see an overtime summary to the right.
Kenjo App - Hours summary
If your admin has activated the Hours summary in the app, you can view your Overtime balance directly on your smartphone.
Could not display content
Open the Kenjo App.
Tap Hours summary in the menu.
Select Weekly view or Monthly view at the top.
You see a progress bar at the bottom with your Tracked hours. To the right is your Required hours target for the week or month.
Tap TO OVERVIEW to open your Overtime balance.
Tap the small arrow next to the hours display to open the detail view.
Tap the arrow to the left of the month name to view the previous month.
Background colours in the overtime balance:
Green: balanced hours (0 hrs 0 min)
Light orange: Time surplus (worked more than planned)
Dark orange: Time deficit (worked less than planned)
Note: You can view past months, but without a detail view. The overview always shows the current month up to today, even if you previously selected the weekly view.
Frequently asked questions
I can't check in. What should I do?
There are three common causes: time tracking is not activated for you, you are trying to use the Punch clock when the Kiosk is set up, or you are a shift employee and no shift has been published for today. Contact your admin in all cases.
Where can I see my tracked hours?
Go to Attendance > My Attendance to see all your entries, breaks, and the hours summary, as soon as your time tracking is activated.
I forgot to check out. What happens?
Your entry stays open. Go to Attendance > My Attendance, open the day, and add the end time manually. Whether you can do this yourself depends on your admin's settings.
I didn't receive or lost my PIN code.
Check your spam folder first. If it's not there either, contact your admin, who can generate and send you a new PIN. You cannot view or reset your PIN yourself.
Why do I see planned hours on vacation or public holiday days?
Planned hours show what was scheduled according to your work schedule or shift plan. They are not reduced by absences. Only your Required hours go to 0, because the absence covers your contractual day.
Why do my required hours and planned hours differ?
This is normal. Planned hours follow your admin's operational plan. Required hours follow your contract. Both can be different on the same day.
I don't see an overtime balance in the app.
The Hours summary in the app must be activated by your admin under Attendance > Settings > Overview. If you don't see it, contact your admin.
