September was our month of big updates and product changes! You can expect comprehensive changes in the Time Off module, as well as in how your employees log in to Kenjo. Let’s not waste time—let’s dive right in!
Time Off for Hourly Employees
Time off requests for all employees, regardless of their type of employment, now follow the same pattern. Activity types have been replaced with new time off pay settings (paid, unpaid, other). Previously, when an hourly employee submitted a time off request, an attendance record was automatically created. This lead to confusion and an inconsistent approach to time off between hourly and fixed-salary employees.
As this redesign brought significant changes in the background, here is an article that explains the updates in detail. Additionally, here is a step-by-step guide to help you implement hourly-based time off policies in your company.
Single Sign-On Area: Streamlined and Better Explained
Start by watching our explainer video on logging in with Single Sign-On. Single Sign-On (SSO) is a login process that allows your employees to access various applications using a single set of credentials. No more dealing with forgotten usernames and passwords! With SSO, your employees can authenticate using their Google or Microsoft company accounts and access Kenjo with just one click. You can find all the additional details here.
We hope you're jumping for joy and already looking forward to October with us! When it's time again for: Product Updates! Until then, stay hydrated and see you soon!
