New Feature: Automatic Clock-Out
If employees forget to clock out, admins can now set an automatic clock-out time. Currently, this time must be a specific number of hours after the employee's start time (e.g. clock out after 12 hours). We're already working on expanding this functionality. Here are the key details:
The rule can be configured in the attendance policies
After the defined time, the employee will be clocked out automatically
The automatic clock-out will be indicated via an info icon and an entry in the time tracking history
The affected employee will be notified – via push notification on their phone!
Admins can now edit time off requests retroactively
Previously, already approved or submitted past and future time off requests could not be edited – only canceled. With the new update, these requests can now be edited directly without needing to cancel and resubmit, keeping the time off history much cleaner. If an employee falls ill during their vacation, the request can now also be adjusted afterward. If an eAU certificate is attached, editing the request will automatically trigger a new certificate request.
New adjustments for prorated time off entitlements
You can now make more detailed adjustments to time off entitlements such as vacation for new employees, part-time staff, or temporary employees. When you create a new time off policy, the different entitlement types are explained in more detail so you can choose the right one for your needs.
That's it for our May updates. We hope, as always, they make your work life easier. Stay tuned for June!
