In this article you will learn how to create a training for your training tracker. The Kenjo Training Tracker module helps you keep an overview of employee trainings and certifications. You can easily store and access certifications and see their statuses.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
- Go to Training Tracker > My trainings
- Click ADD TRAINING
General Information
Fill in the information needed:
- Training title (mandatory)
- Description
- Training duration in hours, days, weeks or months
- Select a category (mandatory): Search for a suitable category or click (+) New category to create a new suitable category
- Cost: If needed, specify if the course is paid or free or not determined
- If it is a paid course: Enter the training price and the currency
- Click NEXT
Content
Fill in the information needed:
- Enter the URL: Give the URL, where the training is hosted or documented (for example Sharepoint, GoogleDrive etc.)
- Instructions: Give clear instructions on the steps participants need to fulfill
- Choose a file: Attach documents in any file format (docx, pdf, ppt. etc.) to store them
- If the upload was successful you will see a green check mark left of the file. If you want to delete an attachment, click the trash bin-icon.
- Click NEXT
Timeline and location
- Define the training timeline:
- Fixed period: Select the start and end date
- Countdown period: Select a start date and the number of days or month after the start date, after which the training will end.
- Indefinite: This training doesn't have an end date.
- Location:
- Online: This training solely takes place online.
- Hybrid: This training will happen partly online and partly at a physical location. Give the location's address for everyone to find.
- In presence: This training will be offline at a specific location. Give the location's address for everyone to find.
- Click NEXT
Completion
☐ Define if this training needs a certificate.
☐ Check this box, when employees must attach the certificate.
☐ Check this box, when the certificate has an expiry date. Give the number of months or years after which the certificate expires.
Visibility
You can use this setting to decide which employees, teams, departments etc. can see the training in the training catalog.
- Toggle on the switch when you want to make this training visible to every employee
- Toggle off the switch and select:
- specific groups of people, e.g. one of your companies
- specific employees by entering their names in the the search field. Click the little x next to their name to unselect employees.
Click LAUNCH
