To simplify your shift planning, you can now let AI create commands for shift planning. Here we show you what you need to keep in mind to plan shifts even faster and more easily.
Create shifts with AI
- Go to Shift Planning
- Click on Ask AI
- On first use the following pop-up window will appear:
Your data is not used by OpenAI to train AI models. Your data is processed only within the EU.
- Enter your command/prompt. Include:
- Employees who are enabled for shift planning and have an assigned role and work area
- the roles of the shift(s) to be planned
- the time of the shift (e.g. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
- the date(s) (e.g. for Monday and Tuesday or for September 8–9)
- Click on GENERATE
- Employees who are enabled for shift planning and have an assigned role and work area
Make sure to only enter commands for the week in week view or for the corresponding month in month view. For the AI, the respective time period must be visible. In our example, in week view you could only have shifts planned from Monday, September 8 to Sunday, September 14.
- Your shifts are now being created, this may take a minute, please do not reload the page.
- You now see the AI-generated shifts in your shift planning:
- You can still decide whether to adopt all the created shifts.
- Click in the box with the blue checkmark to remove it and not adopt this created shift
- In the overview below you can check how many of the AI-generated shifts you will adopt
- Click on APPLY
- The shifts will appear as normal shifts in your shift planning
All common conflicts such as role conflicts or time conflicts are of course also displayed for AI-generated shifts. If you want to learn more about conflicts, please read here.
