In your signup account creation flow at the very end you will be asked to select your payroll provider already:
In this article you find out everything you need to know about 1) adding your payroll provider to Kenjo and 2) confirming your payroll preview. Let's go!
Add your payroll provider and payroll ID
Follow these steps:
- Go to Payroll > Payroll Settings
- Click ACTIVATE
- In the pop-up window your Payroll provider will be automatically selected based on your company location
Payroll provider: This is the payroll accounting system you're company uses
- In case you're in Germany you have to select your Payroll provider via the dropdown-menu
- Insert your Payroll ID
- In case you're in Spain, your Payroll ID will be the NIE, CIF, DNI. In case you don't know it, please get in touch with your Support Manager
Payroll ID: This is the identifier you received from your payroll provider. In case you're unsure about this ID, please get in contact with your payroll provider. Kenjo does not have this ID number
- Click SAVE
- In case you're in Belgium, enter your SFTP credentials before when being asked
Your payroll provider is now successfully added and you're able to see your Payroll Preview.
Payroll Settings
- Go to Payroll > Payroll Settings
- After having set up your provider you will see General info
The default setting for the payroll period's start date will be the calendar month (Payroll period for January starts January 1rst)
- Go to Payroll period
- Open the drop-down-menu
- Click Monthly, starting on
- Define Start date of payroll period with the drop-down-menu
See Payroll preview
Before you send the payroll data to your payroll provider you will see a summary of the period's employee data, time off, variable payments, overtime and documents.
Be aware that as a first time user you will see sample data in the tables.
The exact columns (e.g. Public Holidays, Vacation Days etc) are defined by your specific payroll provider.
When you checked the data and want to send the period's data over to your payroll provider:
- Click CONFIRM REVIEW
