Product Update - December 2023

Modified on Wed, 8 May at 2:13 PM

This month we are delighted to share the news of exciting feature releases in 3 key areas: Attendance, Time-off and Shiftplan. Let’s get to it!

Attendance

Policies: Introducing attendance policies that will bring more flexibility into the configuration of attendance settings for different groups of employees. Furthermore Attendance Policies will be the foundation of the future evolution of the attendance related configuration.

Break Reminder Update: From now on, you can set multiple break reminders and thus configure the breaks even more specifically with regard to the law.

Additionally, we implemented a new Attendance Tracking Console where bulk activation/deactivation can now be performed and we also improved the Attendance History Tracking, where you will now be able to see the device used to track time and the entries generated by the employee prior to any limitation happening.

Time-off

Accept All/Reject All Requests: Time-off reviewers now have the ability to accept or reject all time-off requests assigned to them in bulk, instead of accepting/rejecting each request 1 by 1.

Additionally, reviewers can now filter requests based on their approval status, distinguishing between those awaiting the first or second approval steps.

Shiftplan

Brand New Minimal Mode with role codes: You have a larger overview with all 30 days of the month easily visible. Makes it so much easier to plan for an entire month and have only the most important information in view.

You can now publish an entire month of planned shifts. No more going to each week to publish the planned shifts. You can also copy shifts or use templates just like you always did in the weekly view.

We’ve also implemented a new filter for Working areas and filters are now saved so that the Shiftplan intuitively remembers your preferences when you come back after logging out, going for a walk with your dog, or returning from another feature.

Coming soon

Our team is also working on some more exciting features to support your HR teams further:

  • Much awaited DATEV Lohn and Gehalt integration
  • Employees being able to swap/exchange shifts
  • Tracked attendance and overtime data in Shiftplan
  • Request multiple days with hour based time off
  • Surcharges

We would like to take the opportunity to wish you a merry Christmas and a smooth transition to the new year! And speaking of 2024, don’t hesitate to check out our End of the year checklist! ?
