In this article I'll show you how you resolve basic shift conflict alerts step-by-step.

  • Go to the Shiftplan.
  • Open schedules to edit your shift plan.
  • Schedule your shifts as usual in the weekly or monthly view.
  • Identify Shift Conflicts
  • A red-bordered field with the note "Shift Conflict" will appear next to your shift plan if there’s a conflict.
  • View Shift Conflicts.
  • Click on the red-bordered field to review the shift in question.
  • Then, select the red-bordered shift to open the detailed view.

Adjust Settings for Shift Conflicts

  • Go to Shift Plan > Settings > Conflict alerts.
  • Disable the toggle for Shifts should match profile roles.
  • Enable the checkbox for Allow to publish shifts with this conflict.

Role mismatch conflicts

If the conflict involves a role mismatch, you have the following options:

  • 1.) Publish the Shift with a conflict: Confirm that you want to publish the shifts with a conflict.
  • 2.) Edit the shift and assign it to a person who meets the role requirements or delete the shift.

  • Regardless of the option you choose, click Publish to finalize and publish your shift plan.
