In this article I'll show you how you resolve basic shift conflict alerts step-by-step.
- Go to the Shiftplan.
- Open schedules to edit your shift plan.
- Schedule your shifts as usual in the weekly or monthly view.
- Identify Shift Conflicts
- A red-bordered field with the note "Shift Conflict" will appear next to your shift plan if there’s a conflict.
- View Shift Conflicts.
- Click on the red-bordered field to review the shift in question.
- Then, select the red-bordered shift to open the detailed view.
Adjust Settings for Shift Conflicts
- Go to Shift Plan > Settings > Conflict alerts.
- Disable the toggle for Shifts should match profile roles.
- Enable the checkbox for Allow to publish shifts with this conflict.
Role mismatch conflicts
If the conflict involves a role mismatch, you have the following options:
- 1.) Publish the Shift with a conflict: Confirm that you want to publish the shifts with a conflict.
- 2.) Edit the shift and assign it to a person who meets the role requirements or delete the shift.
- Regardless of the option you choose, click Publish to finalize and publish your shift plan.
