Product Update - Late February 2022

Modified on Tue, 9 Aug, 2022 at 12:18 PM

The 2022 Winter Olympics have come to an end as did our last sprint with new releases. This time we have focused on improving different areas of Kenjo, from filters and tags to supporting the conglomerate business structure.

Put on your skis and scroll down for the new updates!

Improvements to Attendance PDF file

We continue to enhance the attendance reports so they include the most relevant information for official audits. New additions to the PDF file that you can export with your employees' time records include:

  • A summary of the employee work schedule
  • A column to show the selected attendance categories
  • A column to show the comments

We also renamed the last column from Overtime balance to Difference, so it can clearly display positive and negative balance. Go to Employee > Attendance tab > Monthly view > Actions > Export as PDF to download the new file.

Filter standardization

We have standardized and replaced the previous filter structure of the Smart docs, Time off Requests, and the Directory page. The filters are now displayed in a horizontal bar instead of a list, helping you see and retrieve the results that are relevant to you. We've also added a reset button (X) to remove all previous filters with one click.

Smart docs tags (mobile)

To avoid confusion, employees can now only see the Document tags that are relevant to them in our mobile app. Before this update, we were showing all tags as folders. Although the mobile layout was consistent with our desktop design, it was not suitable for a small screen. Now you can save time by looking only at the tags that belong to Company docs (public to everyone in the company) and your own personal documents (private to each employee).

Same email for multiple accounts (Multi-org)

To support clients who have a conglomerate business structure, we've added the possibility to switch from one organization to another using the same email account. You will now be able to manage multiple entities and switch from one company to another while respecting the profile and permissions assigned to you in each account. Submit a support ticket if you want to access the Multi-org feature.

Termination reasons and contract types

To comply with different legal requirements across markets, we've introduced an Employment Information section in Settings > Employee Fields. Admins and HR Admins will now have the option to select and define the different contract types, employment types, working hours, and termination reasons which are relevant for their company based on the regulations in their countries.

All values defined within the Employment Information section will become available in Employee > Compensation tab > Employment table and in Employee > Personal tab > Termination Reason. Especially for Spain, we have created an optional ‘Sub-category’ section/field to fulfill their own specific needs.
