Videos in the job opening

To ensure a consistent and privacy-focused approach, we exclusively support YouTube videos. However, it's not just about any YouTube link; we specifically require the use of the noCookies link for enhanced user privacy and security.

In this article, we'll guide you through the process of embedding YouTube videos within the job openings using the noCookies link and extracting the video ID.

1. Change the format of your YouTube link:

Before embedding a video, ensure that the YouTube link is in the noCookies format.

To do this, simply replace "www.youtube.com" with "www.youtube-nocookie.com" in the video URL. This step is crucial to enhance user privacy and prevent the storage of unnecessary cookies.

2. Extract the Video ID:

Next you want to extract the video ID from the YouTube link. The video ID is a unique identifier for each YouTube video and is needed to embed the video on our platform.

For example, if your original YouTube link is:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abcdefghijk

The noCookie format will look like this:

https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/watch?v=abcdefghijk

3. Embed the video on your job opening:

Once you have the noCookies link and the video ID, you're ready to embed the YouTube video in the job opening.

Use the following format for the embed link:

https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/VIDEO_ID

Replace "VIDEO_ID" with the actual video ID you extracted in the previous step.

Once you are in the job opening you want to click on the video icon on the right side. After that a small window will open where you can enter the generated link from the explanation above. After clicking Save the link will be embedded savely without any cookies attached.
