Shiftplan: Tracked and Overtime data

Modified on Tue, 19 Mar at 12:05 AM

Ensuring a seamless and effective schedule for employees is a key concern for shift managers. Striking the right balance between avoiding over-scheduling or under-scheduling is crucial.

Our solution streamlines this process by extracting and displaying relevant data points seamlessly integrated into various sections of Kenjo. Instead of local calculations, we use existing data points to provide accurate and up-to-date information. This ensures that shift managers have instant access to the necessary details.

You want to navigate to Shiftplan > Settings > View Options > Show attendance information. By default this toggle will be turned off and only Admins and HR Admins can change it. When turned on this setting will apply to every employee in the company.

Consistent Overlay

When you navigate to the weekly or monthly view, the overlay remains consistent throughout. It collects and displays data for the entire month, ensuring a comprehensive overview of attendance and overtime details.

Clock Icon in Employee List

Navigating to the employee list will display a clock icon. Clicking on this icon reveals a quick overview of attendance and overtime data, providing a quick snapshot of each employee's status.

Weekly or monthly view: new attendance data

When the user navigates to a week within the current month or accesses the attendance data for the current month, the displayed data points include:

  •     Month + Year
  •    Attendance tracked
  •    Current overtime balance

In contrast, when the user navigates to a week in a past or future month, or accesses the attendance data for a past or future month, the displayed data points are:

  •    Month + Year
  •   Attendance tracked
  •   Ending overtime balance

Hover states and color codes

We want to show the user which employees have overtime so that they can easily identify them and not overassign more shifts to them.

When the user has negative overtime:

When the user has equal overtime:

When the user has actual overtime:

Data point updates:

  • When user enters the Shiftplan module then all data for the employees are refreshed
  •  When the scheduled job/Agenda runs for overtime + attendance data in attendance module then the updated data is also pushed to Shiftplan
  •  When user clicks on clock icon then tracked time and overtime data is refreshed and retrieved from sources
